Abandoned
buildings seem to have some sort of magnetic pull for me.I NEED to see
what's inside. What happened there? Why did the people leave? What were
they like? Did they have secrets? Little remenants of left-behind items
such as clothing, magazines, and photos give me a tease of the past. And
this need to know what was in the past pushes me in so many directions––most
recently, I"ve become quite interested in writing nonfiction historical
picture books for kids.
